- I've a lot of good questions which have to be in this FAQ.
1. Which data is transferred by the client ?
There is no personal data transfered by the client, only the number of your clicks, keystroked and if you wish, your click-diagramm is transfered.
2. Does the permanently running programm cause much CPU-load or use a lot of RAM ?
No, since the client was optimized to need RAM and computing time only at least. If the client is minimized, it needs only 1 MB of working memories and within 10 hours only approx. 10 sec. computing time.
3. Which advantages does a participation in Project Clix have for me ?
Project Clix simply gives it's users a possibility to see how much they work with mouse and keyboard every day and also compete with other users, teams or countries.
4. Is it free ?
Yes, Project Clix is free and will remain free.
5. Who founded Project Clix ?
It was started by Florian Heft in 2004.
After Florian gave up on it in 2008 due to a lack of time to spend on it, Alexander Zigelski, a former member of Project-Clix, picked it up.
Nothing changed for about a year, but then he got his ass up the couch and reworked site and Clix-client.
